What is it?
ArtsPond’s Path Well is a practice for exploring promising pathways to change, care, and connection that we imagine, want, and need in the world. It is guided by three horizons in time that can be considered either individually or collectively:
- Past: What can we learn from legacies of the past about the radical systems change we imagine shaping the world?
- Present: What can we learn from experiences of the present about the real community care we want supporting the world?
- Future: What can we learn from visions of the future about the reciprocal human connection we need to see in the world?
The practice also invites consideration of the various ways in which we seek, support, or shape change, care, and connection in our lives, communities, and planet wide. In other words, in what ways have we benefitted, guided, or led these pathways (or hope to)?
